Jumio The New Wave Of Digital Payments

There is a new digital payment startup that is hitting the market. It is called Jumio, which is carrying some milestones for the first quarter of this year after releasing its main mobile payment product Netswipe in 2011.  Jumio has written reseller and distribution agreements with many high-profile payment service providers. The best part about this service is that Jumio's Netswipe allows online retailers to process Internet and mobile payments by having customers swipe their credit cards via any webcam. Its Netverify products use the same technology to turn its webcams into online ID identification readers. The company's new partners include Braintree, Paybision, TSYS, SafeCharge, ccBill, Financial Transaction Services, Cardflex and Wirecard, which all will be selling Jumio's product. Jumio's new partners represent a total payment processing volume of 154 billion dollars, which is an incredible amount even on a global scale. But mainly Jumio is eyeing Asian markets as its target. The company has raised $31.5 million dollars so far from its investors including Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin and Silicon Valley VC firm Andreessen Horowitz. This sounds like a very promising digital payment business to be on the look out for in the near future.
